Great honest people to take your car to.

I have been going to Bretts and working with Leo on my cars and find him to be very honest and trustworthy. My trucks always run great when he finishes and I couldnt be more pleased. I couldnt help but read some of the reviews and I find it funny that a couple people seem to think that these guys can do something for nothing! Its a business! They do great work for a fair price. Brian seems to think he can buy a part from some other place, tell them how to fix it and then get it for free, try running a business like that Brian! Sorry, I just get irritated by some guy ripping on someone for no good reason.

These guys are great! I can't say enough good things about the guys at Bret's. I've been taking my car there for 3 years now, and every experience I've had has been positive. They are always friendly and professional. I've had some less than fantastic experiences at other establishments in the past, but the staff at Bret's has always answered my questions and done quality work at reasonable prices. I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else.

I just used them to fix my 1997 Toyota. I had to get a tow to somewhere in Olathe as my starter went out. I chose Bret's after reading some of the reviews and trusting my gut. They fixed the starter, and gave me the laundry list of items that needed to be worked on with my car. Wayne helped me prioritize which items really needed to be done, and together we came up with a solution. They are not the cheapest around, but the services cost what I thought was reasonable. If you don't see another review from me for a while, the work was flawless and lasts.

Our son's VW Jetta decided to quit running while he was in KC. I googled auto repair and was lucky enough to find Bret's Autoworks. They were fantastic! Great service & great communications! When you need a good shop & someone you can trust with your car repairs I highly recommend you call Bret's.

We took our vehicles to Bret's when we lived in Olathe and miss them greatly now that we have moved. Always excellent service, kindness, and honesty. They also have a rewards program where you earn money back toward future repairs (great deal when you have an older car needing frequent repairs and diagnostics!)

Brett's Autoworks is by far our most trusted automechanics in the Kansas City area. They are not the cheapest, but they are the most reliable and honest mechanic I have encountered. They are up front about the costs and do not try to push unnecessary repairs on its customers. They do an excellent job in helping their customers, and I have seen them go above and beyond the call many times for people in need. Excellent shop and support it with your patronage whenever you get the chance. You will not be disappointed. We have been to Brett's for every major repair and maintenance done our vehicles since 2004.

I have used Bret's services many times, and they have always been wonderful to work with. All of the people who have helped me have been friendly and respectful. It's so refreshing to have a pleasant experience dealing with car problems!

We went to Bret's because they were listed on Car Talk and AAA. They took care of my wife's emergency repair and gave her a loaner to drive to work. Her Buick Regal was fixed quickly and for less than we expected. But they really excelled on my '99 Buick LaSabre. A dealership had given me a list of needed repairs totaling over $2000. I put it off as long as I could and then took the car to Bret's based on my wife's good experience. The total bill for my car repair was $643. They couldn't find anything else wrong with it. Both cars are driving perfectly.
